Refund Policy

How cancellations, completed work, deposits and refund requests are generally handled for AKS Group LLC service projects.

Last updatedSeptember 4, 2026
This policy is written for AKS Group LLC’s general website and digital-services use. Project-specific proposals or agreements may contain additional terms that apply to a particular engagement.

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to service payments made directly to AKS Group LLC unless a signed agreement, accepted proposal or invoice states different refund or cancellation terms.

Because our work is time-based and often custom-made for a specific client, refund eligibility depends on how much work has already been completed and which non-refundable costs have already been incurred.

2. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If you cancel before substantive project work has started, we will review the payment and may refund amounts not needed to cover completed onboarding, discovery, reserved production time or non-refundable third-party costs.

3. Deposits and Initial Payments

Deposits or initial payments may become non-refundable once work begins because they reserve production capacity and cover discovery, planning and early-stage work. Your proposal or invoice should state how the initial payment is treated for your project.

4. Work Already Completed

Payments allocated to completed discovery, strategy, design, development, revisions, consulting sessions or other completed milestones are generally not refundable. If a project ends early, any remaining balance will be reviewed against work completed and obligations already incurred.

5. Third-Party Costs

Domains, hosting, paid plugins, software subscriptions, stock assets, printing, advertising spend, platform fees and other third-party purchases made for a project are non-refundable once purchased unless the third-party provider issues a refund to us.

6. Revisions and Change of Mind

A change in preference after work has been completed does not automatically qualify for a refund. We will first use any revision allowance included in the project scope. Additional changes may be quoted separately if the agreed revision allowance has been used.

7. Ongoing or Retainer Services

Fees for completed monthly work are not refundable. Cancellation of future recurring work should be requested before the next billing or service period, subject to any notice period stated in the applicable agreement.

8. Delivered Digital Work

Once final digital files, website access, source files, production code or other completed deliverables have been released, the related project fees are generally not refundable unless required by law or otherwise agreed in writing.

9. How to Request a Refund Review

Send a written request to hello@aksgroupllc.com with your name, company, invoice or project reference, the amount in question and a short explanation. We will review the request against the project scope, work completed and costs already incurred.

10. Payment Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can review the project records and try to resolve the issue directly. Filing a payment dispute does not cancel contractual obligations for work already completed or third-party costs already incurred.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy for future projects. Any project-specific written terms accepted before an update will continue to govern that project where applicable.
